Feeling the feelings we fear to feel

We all have experienced intense feelings from time to time.  Why is it that we welcome some emotions and would do anything to distance ourselves from others?  This group-session will focus upon the intense emotions that leave us feeling depleted and can impede our performance.  The session will provide information about intense emotions, consider our usual responses that can be helpful and unhelpful, and determine ways that can enable us to experience intense emotions and not fear the feelings we have.
