ANU Student's Association first year camps

Do you want to meet people and make friendsAre you unsure about how best to plan your degree? Do you want to find out more about opportunities and support services? If you answered yes to any of these questions, come along to the ANUSA First Year Camps!

We are very happy to be able to offer these camps at just $80 per person, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors. This covers your transport, 2 nights of accomodation, meals for the entire weekend, and camp activities.

The camps will feature information sessions and workshops run by college representatives and camp mentors. These will help you to plan your degree, inform you about all the exciting opportunities at the ANU (including internships, mobility programmes, field schools, and clubs), and help you to navigate the support systems within your college. Additionally, the mental health organisation Batyr will be running sessions about mental health and wellbeing.

In addition to these helpful workshops, the camps will be packed full of opportunities for you to meet others and make friends! Campers can choose between activities such as raft building, flying fox, rock climbing, and archery. We will be spending an afternoon at the beautiful Tathra beach, and there will be plenty of free time for campers to relax in the pool, play basketball and volleyball, or try their hand at minigolf.
