ANU Careers Week
Join us for ANU Careers Week, as we launch the new team at ANU Careers & Employability, and invite you to connect with ANU students and staff from across the university. Positive employability outcomes depend largely on students’ accurate understanding of the world of work. ANU Careers Week presents an opportunity to connect directly with ANU students in a collaborative environment, to discuss current careers and employability issues and to host activities that benefit ANU students, industry partners, and other stakeholder groups from across the University.
Key ANU Careers Week 2023 events:
- 21 February, 3 pm - 6 pm - ANU Careers Symposium (This free event presents an opportunity to connect with employability and academic staff across the ANU)
- 22 February, 3 pm - 5:30 pm - ANU Careers Speed networking STEM (student focused)
- 23 February, 12 pm - 3:30 pm - ANU Careers Fair (student focused)
- ANU Careers Skills workshops, alumni panels and employers presentations

Speed Networking
We are very excited to host several in-person speed networking events targeting different discipline areas and we would like to invite your organisation to participate. Last Semester this format was our most successful event, with 100% student attendance. The event will provide you with an opportunity to interact with students and recent graduates studying in relevant degrees. There are limited number of spots available - only 12 to 15 employers per event.
- 22 February 2023, 3pm - 5:30 pm - STEM focus (as part of the ANU Careers Week)
- 01 March 2023 - Government focus
- 02 March 2023 - Consulting focus
There will be 10-minute rounds where you may wish to discuss resumes, interview advice, what it takes to be a competitive job candidate and the importance of creating strong professional networks. Representatives may also want to discuss the different roles, responsibilities and what your organisation offers in relation to careers in your sector.

21-22 March 2023 Tertiary To Work Canberra Careers Fair
Tertiary to Work (TTW) is Canberra's largest graduate careers fair organised by three leading universities in Canberra: the Australian National University (ANU), the University of Canberra (UC) and the Australian Catholic University (ACU)! Meet hundreds of students of all disciplines and degrees gathered in one venue - UC Refectory. This in-person fair will allow you to showcase your amazing employment opportunities and demonstrate how your leadership is invested in early talent.

Career skills workshops
Although it is still possible to book an in-person or online employer presentation, we encourage employers to look at engaging with our students either through the Speed Networking Events or via one of our career skills workshops. If you would like to run a 1-hour workshop in collaboration with ANU Careers on one of these topics or another career related topic, please get in touch via our online form. We will be able to negotiate dates and times with you separately.
