‘Breastfeeding welcome here’ award presented to Kambri venue

The Lab has been the first café in Kambri to receive a ‘Breastfeeding Welcome Here’ award from the Australian Breastfeeding Association.

Back from Balawan – our 2019 students’ works now on exhibition

Each year, the ANU School of Art & Design takes a handful of students to the New South Wales south coast to experience the history and heritage values of the First Australians in that area. The 2019 exhibition, their responses to the experience, is now on show at the School until 22 August.

The ANU Law Library will be closed for a period of two weeks at the end of August due to planned electrical work in the building.

Following the years of political turmoil that has featured in Australian governance, what is next for Australia’s long-term future? Former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd will be coming to ANU to discuss alternative visions for the nation’s future.

ANU and Geoscience Australia recently joined forces to showcase earth and marine sciences to aspiring year 9 and 10 girls, looking to move into the sciences in school and, later, university.

Can you teach an old dog new tricks? We're not sure about that, BUT you can certainly make them look great! Check out the ANU School of Art & Design's recent restoration work on the 'Dog on the Tuckerbox' statue.

The Respectful Relationships Unit (as art of the ANU ALLY network) are celebrating Wear It Purple Day with a morning tea on Friday 30 August. The event will be a celebration of diversity, inclusion and community. If you’d like to attend, please register.
