Dr Ben Hillman is a comparative political scientist who specialises in political change and ethnic politics in Asia. He is the author or editor of five books on China and Indonesia. He is currently working on a new book about Tibet. Dr. Hillman has worked as an adviser to the United Nations and to national governments on political inclusion and the governance of conflict-affected areas.
