A talent show in Fenner Hall last week lifted the spirits of residents who have been battling the lockdown blues.
Resident Zac Bell organised the socially distanced event for his fellow residents on the sixth floor on Wednesday night last week.
"There were no winners or prizes - the event was intended to brighten the lockdown mood and community spirit," he says.
"Most of them got up to perform at some point - ranging from the light hearted to highly skilled musical acts.
"Despite the pressures of studies during the semester and the pandemic, residents came together in the most innovative of ways to spread joy and smiles under their masks."
Phoenix Yuksel performed a song that she wrote called "Lifeguard".
Ronan Apcar, who is a School of Music student, performed songs from his debut album called "Dulcie Holland Crescent", "Claire De Lune" and "Waterfall".
"Other performances included a recorder ensemble, the ukulele, and the classic hot cross buns," Zac says.
