Centenary Scholars arrive on campus

12 February 2014

The University welcomed recipients of the Centenary Scholarships as part of Orientation Week celebrations.

The Centenary Scholarships were announced last year as the University's gift to mark the Centenary of Canberra, ensuring an ongoing legacy from the centenary celebrations.

The 100 Centenary Scholars will receive $5,000 each to help with the cost of their study at ANU.

Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ian Young AO, welcomed the Scholars to ANU at an outdoor morning tea and cake-cutting event to celebrate the new scholarships.
