Canberra Moon Week, 17-21 July 2019

In 1969, the first images of the historic moon landing were broadcast around the world from Honeysuckle Creek Station. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of this historic occasion, ANU, as Australia's national university, is hosting in partnership with the ACT Government, a five-day program of events and activities which will capture the imagination and explore our understanding of the moon and the universe. Join 2011 Nobel Laureate Professor Brian P. Schmidt, ANU experts, leading NASA and space experts, as we celebrate the anniversary in Canberra.
