Seven of the University’s alumni have been named Fulbright scholars for 2015.The Fulbright scholarships, awarded by the Australian-American Fulbright Commission, recognise, support and encourage academic excellence, innovation and creativity through the work that scholars do in their fields of study. The 7 ANU Fulbright scholars are:
William Feeney – 2015 Fulbright Post Doctorate Scholarship
Simon Jarman – 2015 Fulbright Professional Scholarship
Josiah Khor – 2015 Fulbright Postgraduate Scholarship
Adam Lockyer – 2015 Fulbright Professional Scholarship
Timothy McCormack – 2015 Fulbright Senior Scholar
Charis Teh – 2015 Fulbright Post Doctorate Scholarship
Kathryn Zealand – 2015 Fulbright-Anne Wexler Masters in Public Policy Scholarship
“This is a fantastic achievement for the scholars and we are immensely proud of them,” ANU Vice-Chancellor Professor Ian Young said.
The scholars will receive their awards at a ceremony in Perth on 19 February.
