In this workshop Adam Shipp, Indigenous Restoration Officer for Greening Australia, will be teaching us how to grow our own bush foods.
Adam Shipp, is a Wiradjuri man who was born and raised in Canberra, Ngunawal country. He currently works for Greening Australia and has a keen interest in Native flora, especially in traditional Aboriginal plant food, resources and medicine. Adam has worked with schools, community organisations, and other areas of community, helping to establish Native bush resource gardens in the A.C.T and Surrounding regions.
In this workshop, Adam will talk about a range of different native plants from this area and their traditional Aboriginal uses, and show you how to grow your own bush food garden at your school, workplace or home garden.
