The shift to emergency remote learning prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic brought with it concerns about student cheating. If students complete their assignments and exams away from us, how can we be sure they completed the work themselves under the conditions we have set?
This presentation focuses on understanding cheating in this new context, and what can be done to address contract cheating, which is the outsourcing of assessed work by students.
