Information about our COVID-19 Public Health Directives and the guidelines and protocols we have in place to maintain a COVID-safe campus.
COVID-19 Public Health Directives
We've established a COVID Response Office to support all areas of ANU to thrive in our new COVID world, and ensure we have a safe and even more resilient community. Our COVID Response Office is led by our Public Health Lead, Professor Tracy Smart.
While we all work to embed COVID-safe and COVID-smart practices into our business processes and University policy, Tracy is releasing directives to guide us.
The below COVID-19 Public Health Directives should be followed and embedded into business processes where possible.
-
Staff and student travel (directive 1/2020)
-
ANU venue capacities (directive 2/2020)
COVID-19 Guidelines and Protocols
We have guidelines in place to maintain a COVID-safe campus. These guidelines must be followed whilst on campus.
All protocols and guidelines, including the University Guidelines, are available below on this page (under 'Documents').
To ensure your safe return to campus, it is essential that you take time to review and understand the return to campus Plans, Guidelines and Risk Assessments (available below) that are relevant to you and your team.
If you are a supervisor or manager of a team and you are considering coming back on to campus, it is important you follow these steps when considering re-starting your activities on campus.
If you are going to return to campus, or have already, please log into HORUS as soon as possible and complete the acknowledgement that you have read and understood the COVID-safe plans, guidelines and risk assessments that are relevant to your work area. There are instructions below on how to do this.
If you are planning to return to campus at a later date, please be sure to complete this form before you return to campus.
How to complete the acknowledgement in HORUS
- Log in to HORUS (https://horus.anu.edu.au).
- For managers, navigate to the top of the page and ensure that you select the 'Employee Self Service Option' before proceeding.
- Select the 'HR Forms' tile from the employee self-service menu.
- Navigate to the 'Return to Campus' form on the left hand side menu.
