Fiona started her career as an accountant with a top tier professional services firm in Canberra before relocating to London where she worked in the corporate and charity sectors. Whilst not starting out in the most fashion forward of industries it did teach Fiona the importance of looking and being professional, in particular when it came to gaining employment, seeking promotion and engaging clients.
Changing career was a liberating experience (hence the birth of Style Liberation) and started with meeting her own style guru. After training and working as an Image Consultant in London for a number of years, Fiona returned to Canberra to help her clients look and feel great whilst still remaining true to themselves.
Fiona is currently involved in a number of projects such as The Image Project where she is collaborating with Claire Connelly (Papercut), Amanda Whitley (HerCanberra) and Zoe Routh (Inner Compass) to present ‘Brand You’ workshops. In her spare time she writes ‘Retail Reviews’ and other posts for HerCanberra as well as running ‘Trend Updates’ for her clients each season to showcase new looks and how to make them work for ‘you’.
