Applications for 2015 Alumni Mentoring Program now open

The Alumni to Alumni Mentoring Program is a theme based program that focuses on career and work/life mentoring. Its core aim is to strengthen the links between ANU and the ANU alumni community. In 2015, this program is focused on Global Careers.

The Program focuses on career and work/life mentoring. The mentor acts as an advisor using their experience to guide the mentee through discussion about career goals, the availability of networks and support, and workplace dynamics.

Fast Facts

  • Focus: Global Careers, all ages and cross disciplinary
  • Time Commitment: Six hours in six months (April to October)
  • Format: Online or Face to Face
  • Location: Anywhere
  • Number of positions: 30 mentors and a maximum of 60 mentees
  • Mentor Requirements: Minimum of one year experience in more than one country

Training and Support

Training will be provided to mentors prior to the commencement of the mentoring engagement and an orientation will be provided to all mentors and mentees for expectations setting. All participants are expected to either attend or complete the available online materials prior to the engagement.

This is a competitive program. Please ensure a complete application is submitted.

Applications to become a mentor are open until COB Monday 2nd March 2015.

Applications to become a mentee are open Monday 16th - Friday 27th March 2015.
