Over the next few months Alumni Relations will be collecting ideas from the alumni community about how you’d like to celebrate the University’s 70th birthday in 2016. We will also be collecting your memories, stories and images.

Burton and Garran Hall 50th Reunion Celebrations
B&G alumni are invited to return to ANU in January for a weekend of 50th birthday celebrations.
Burton Hall was built in 1965; Garran Hall commenced in 1966; and in 1983 the Burton Hall Crows and Garran Hall Galahs combined to form the Burton and Garran Hall Redbacks, affectionately referred to as B&G.
In its (almost) 50 years, B&G has remained a multicultural community with students and staff from throughout Australia and all over the world.
2015 Golden Graduates’ Alumni Reunion
Planning is underway for the 2015 Golden Graduates’ Reunion, starting at 6pm on Friday 9 October with a Welcome Back to ANU reception at the Drill Hall Gallery. We’re returning to a lunch format for the 2015 Reunion, and look forward to welcoming you to the Golden Graduates’ Long Lunch on Saturday 10 October at Canberra’s iconic Albert Hall.
Overseas? Interstate? Plan your visit back to ANU now. We look forward to welcoming you back.
We’re looking for alumni volunteers to help plan the 2015 Reunion and identify many of our “lost” Golden Graduate community. Alumni don’t need to live in Canberra to help with the planning. Volunteer roles include helping to locate alumni ANU has lost contact with, collecting memorabilia to display at the lunch and writing stories and memories. If you’re interested in giving your time from February to October, contact Heidi Dreyer by email.
