2020 has been a bit of roller coaster ride...
While COVID-19 had us stay in our homes for a while, we have also come all the more closer to people across the world, from our homes.
To finish off 2020, young stars from across Australia, NZ, Switzerland, UK, and many other places will come together to make the Earth a sandwich!
How you might ask might we make the Earth a sandwich?
With bread, vinegar, baking soda, and rockets!
By making pop rockets in your own kitchens, and 'launching' these rockets on slices of breads in your home, at the same time, across the globe!
How to make a pop rocket?
You will be able to do a simple DIY experiment from your home.
And we will all do it together at the same time through Zoom.
Check out this guide from Questacon:https://www.questacon.edu.au/outreach/programs/science-circus/videos/pop...
Or this one from NASA:https://www.nasa.gov/stem-ed-resources/pop-rockets.html
All you need are some basic ingredients in your home.
You will make these pop rockets along with kids and us from across the globe via Zoom.
We will also learn a bit about rockets and satellites!
Join us to have a blast!
