As part of our lifelong commitment to our alumni, we have developed a new postgraduate study support scheme to assist ANU alumni to upskill or retrain to meet the challenges of our changing world. Whether you are seeking to advance your career in your current field or looking to reskill for an in-demand industry, you are now eligible for a 10% tuition fee reduction on most courses at ANU, if you enrol in your program in 2023 or 2024.
You don't need to submit a separate application to access this offer. Your eligibility will be automatically assessed when you apply to commence an eligible postgraduate coursework program in 2023 or 2024. If you are eligible, your tuition fees will be reduced by 10% for the duration of your program (even if this is beyond 2024).
Eligibility criteria
ANU alumni are eligible to receive ANU alumni postgraduate study support if they meet the following conditions:
- Are a domestic or international applicant;

Have previously completed an award program at The Australian National University (ANU);

Commence a postgraduate coursework program* at the Australian National University in 2023 or 2024 (exclusions apply*);

Are self-funded for fee purposes and are a full-fee paying student, i.e. are not the recipient of:

A Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) or other government supported place;

A tuition fee sponsorship by a government or organisation; or
-
Any other form of tuition fee scholarship or fee waiver.

Are not receiving any other discount, e.g. employee or employee family member tuition discounts; and
-
Are not receiving any ANU scholarships during their postgraduate degree duration.
*Excludes offers for the following programs of study: cross-institutional study programs, Doctor of Medicine & Surgery and courses that are delivered in partnership with the Australian War College of the Australian Defence Force (Graduate Certificate of Military and Defence Studies, Graduate Diploma of Military and Defence Studies, Master of Military and Defence Studies, Master of Military and Defence Studies (Advanced)) or any other contracted partnerships. Additional courses may be nominated for exclusion by the relevant Associate Dean (Education) as course offerings change in the future.
Application process
Eligible ANU alumni who enrol in an eligible postgraduate coursework program and commence study in 2023 or 2024 will receive an automatic waiver of 10% on their tuition fees for any postgraduate coursework units undertaken in that program of study. The 10% reduction will be applied to the student's tuition fees after enrolment.
