Professor Maryanne Dever

Professor Maryanne Dever holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Queensland and a Master of Arts (Hons) and PhD from the University of Sydney. Career highlights include fellowships at McGill University, the University of Tampere, and the National Library of Australia, in addition to appointments at the University of Technology Sydney as Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning) for Arts and Social Sciences, Director of LX Transformation, and Deputy Chair and then Chair of Academic Board.

Professor Dever is recognized for her research in feminist literary studies and critical archival studies. Her most recent book is Paper, Materiality and the Archived Page (2019). She also has on-going research interests in the areas of gender, work, and higher education. She co-edits the journal Australian Feminist Studies.
