Biography

Professor Vinh Lu has been an academic member in the Research School of Management, ANU College of Business and Economics since July 2010 after having completed his PhD at the University of Adelaide.

Vinh has published refereed journal articles in the Academy of Management Journal, Health Psychoogy, Tourism ManagementJournal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Business EthicsJournal of Business Research, Studies in Higher EducationPersonality and Individual Differences, Journal of Strategic Marketing, International Journal of Human Resource ManagementAustralasian Marketing JournalService Industries Journal, Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics, among others. He is conducting research in the areas of services marketing, career adaptability and student learning. Vinh's research has received competitive funding from Wine Australia (two Category 1 grants), contentgroup/Department of Defence (Category 3 grant) and Invest Canberra (Category 3 grant).

A passionate and enthusiastic academic, Vinh enjoys teaching a variety of courses in the International Business and Marketing disciplines, across undergraduate, Honours, and postgraduate levels. For his excellence in education, Vinh has been recognised with multiple awards at the national (OLT Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning, ANZMAC-Pearson Emerging Marketing Educator Award) and university levels (Vice-Chancellor's Award for Teaching Excellence, Vice-Chancellor's Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning, ANU Commendation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning, CBE Award for Teaching Excellence).
