Associate Professor Ben Corry

Ben is a biophysicist with a love of teaching and research working at the Research School of Biology.  His research into the nervous system spans Physics, Chemistry and Biology. He contributes to public discourse in biomedical science and water security through national and international media appearances. Ben has 15 years' teaching experience extending from undergraduate to postdoctoral level. 

Ben is an ANU graduate (B.A, B.Sc. (Hons) and University Medal (1998); PhD in Physics (2003)). He was an ARC Postdoctoral then Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia, returning to the ANU in 2012 as a Future Fellow. He was WA Young Scientist of the Year (2008), a Young Tall Poppy Award recipient (2011) and a finalist at the Eureka Awards (2012).
