Membership

There are approximately 1100 members of University House in the categories of:

• ANU Staff
• Postgraduate Students
• Community Members
• Overseas and Interstate Visitors

In broad terms membership of University House is offered, on application, to graduates of recognised universities or to those who hold other significant community-related qualifications. The membership, therefore, consists mainly of a large alumnus of graduates from recognised universities worldwide.

We welcome members in all categories. Members mix with colleagues from across the University, with those from other academic and research institutions, and with members from the community, so that membership has a coordinating role which fosters relationships within the University and with the community.

Membership brings with it a number of other benefits as well, including:

• discounted accommodation rates
• reciprocity with over 180 private and university clubs throughout Australia and the world
• discounts from local businesses
