ANU Centre for UNESCO

The role of the Centre includes

  • providing a collegial environment for the work of UNESCO Visiting Fellows
  • augmenting the work of the Australian National Commission for UNESCO and the Secretariat
  • as a Centre of the Australian National University, participating in the educational, research, cultural, and community activities of the University
  • generating ideas and activities with a view to assisting the work of UNESCO
  • participating in the Networks of the National Commission
  • conducting outreach activities relevant to UNESCO with a view to facilitating interest in and commitment to UNESCO's work.
