PRIMO: Short-Course Program

2022 Update:

PRIMO courses are currently on hold as we navigate a safe return to travel following the disruptions of the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope to re-launch PRIMO courses again in the near future, so please watch this space.

In the meantime, ANU Global Programs has compiled a list of opportunities being offered by our partner universities and providers in Winter Session (June-July) 2022 for you to explore. You will find both virtual and in-person program options so there is something for everyone.

Overview

PRIMO courses are credit-bearing short multi-disciplinary overseas programs designed for undergraduate students in their first-years. Students will also have the opportunity to apply for a range of ANU and Australian Government grants. While priority is given to applicants in their first year of undergraduate study, later year students can also apply for certain programs but will not be eligible to receive grant funding. Later year students can apply for OS-HELP if they meet the eligibility criteria.

Please click on the link for each program below to find out more about application and funding.

Applications for July Program will open from January to March

Eligibility

1. Academic College Approval

  • You have completed 48 units or less by the program commencement date

Please note PRIMO is designed for first year students and first year students will receive priority when assessing applications. We will accept later year students on this program if capacity permits.

3. Home country and citizenship criteria
International students who hold citizenship from their home country are not permitted to undertake studies back in their home country for exchange studies. International students should ensure the country chosen for exchange does not have any restrictions on travel to the country based on citizenship.
