About this scholarship

 

Each year, the ANU College of Business & Economics, Research School of Finance, Actuarial Studies and Statistics ('RSFAS') may offer an award known as the Research School of Finance, Actuarial Studies and Statistics Student Managed Fund Equity Scholarship ('the Award').

The objective of this Award is to strengthen educational outcomes for student's skill development and preparation for further study or employment, and to raise awareness of the acute disadvantages that some students face in accessing university education. 

Funding for this Award has been provided by the Research School of Finance, Actuarial Studies and Statistics.

Eligibility

 

The award is available each year to a commencing ANU student who:

  • is a domestic student; and
  • has received an offer for admission to a single or flexible double undergraduate degree program offered by the Research School of Finance, Actuarial Studies and Statistics; and
  • is eligible for, and receives  adjustment factors for financial disadvantage.

The scholarship is valued at up to $10,000 per annum for up to 4 years.
The value of the Award is stated in your letter of offer.

The duration of the Award is for up to four years of full-time study (maximum 192 units). The Award is paid in equal instalments at the beginning of semester otherwise stated in the letter of offer. 

The recipient is responsible for making payment of all tuition fees by the prescribed date as set out by the University each session. Recipients of the Award are responsible for the costs of books, study materials, accommodation and all other costs of study.
