In this presentation Associate Professor Inger Mewburn, director of research training at ANU and scholar of research education will demystify the research degree process. From selecting a supervisor to writing a proposal, Dr Mewburn will take you through the series of decisions you need to make before embarking on a research degree and give you some advice on how to prepare yourself for doing a PhD.
The advice is largely context free and should be relevant for a range of other universities. We want to make sure that you make the best choice for yourself, your family and your career. This presentation will help you decide if ANU is the right place for you.
