Asia Pacific Day is an annual event for high schools across the ACT. The event is designed to give students the opportunity to come onto campus and experience a day in the life of a university student while increasing their understanding of Asia and the Pacific and Australia's engagement with the region. Students participate in a number of lectures throughout the day which are designed to align their high school curriculum. Taught by leading ANU scholars, Asia Pacific Day aims to link Australia's engagement with the Asia Pacific region with high school tertiary-accredited courses across a range of disciplines, including geography, global studies, history and modern history, economics, international relations and legal studies.
