ANU-Study Canberra India Scholarship in New Delhi

The Australian National University (ANU) is committed to suporting talented students from around the world and offers a range of scholarships and together with Study Canberra (An ACT Government Initiative)  we are pleased to offer 10 scholarships worth AUD$10,000 to high achieving students from India.

The scholarship is open to Indian Students who are looking at entering either into postgraduate or undergraduate coursework programs at ANU. Please see ANU - Study Canberra Scholarship information page for eligibility, application and scholarship details.

ANU and Study Canberra will be visiting Delhi to provide more information about the Scholarships as well as more information about ANU and Canberra and to answer any questions you have. The session will be hosted at the Shangri-La Ero's on Wed 6 May 2015, 5.30-7.30pm by:

  • Dr Amanda Day

Dr Amanda Day is the Counsellor (Education) at the Australian High Commission, New Delhi. Dr Day has worked for the Australian Department of Education and Training since 2007, primarily in school education policy. Her focus has been on assessment and reporting through the National Assessment Program (www.nap.edu.au), which includes both domestic and international student assessment. Prior to this role, Dr Day also managed initiatives such as the My School website (www.myschool.gov.au); increasing school autonomy and school improvement programs. She also worked on languages, Asian studies in schools policy and values education initiatives. Dr Day began her career as a Japanese high school teacher in Canberra. In addition to speaking Japanese, Dr Day is learning Hindi and holds a PhD in nineteenth century Australian History from the Australian National University.
