Denise Ferris is a visual artist, who exhibited recent work in Taiwan and Thailand. Her photographs are in Australian public collections including the National Gallery, National Library of Australia and Canberra Museum and Gallery, as well as international collections, District Six Museum Cape Town, Haldenstein Switzerland and Nara City Japan. An educator, she is the recipient of an Australian Council of Universities of Art and Design Distinguished Teaching Award. Ferris is the Head of the Australian National University, School of Art in Canberra.
