The Master of Earth Science (Advanced) allows a mix of a research project with course work covering a wide range of topics: geophysics (geodynamics, geodesy, seismotectonics); geochemistry (thermodynamics, petrology, tectonics); and Water and Marine Geoscience (climate change, coral studies, sea level changes, and groundwater). Coursework will provide basic skills such as analytical techniques, data analysis and research methods as a major component of this program. The research topic will be discussed on entry.
