Computer lab and quiet study rooms
Toad Hall offers a comfortable and well equipped computer room with 12 computers (PC and Mac). The computer room is open 24/7 for your convenience. Two quiet study rooms can booked if you would like a change of scenery for study or small group work.
There are 5 communal laundries on the ground floor of the Hall. They contain washing machines, dryers, irons and ironing boards. Drying lines are provided outside E, F & G ground floor blocks.
Each kitchen will have a microwave, toaster, and oven, a shared refrigerator with freezer section, kettle/jug, dustpan and broom and a fire blanket. It has motion sensors that turn the stove and lights off when you leave. You will need to bring tea towels, dishwashing detergent, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery as Toad Hall does not provide these items. Each Resident is allocated 3 cupboards in which to keep non-perishable food, crockery and cooking utensils. Each Resident is allocated space in a shared refrigerator with a small space in the freezer.
The Anton Aalbers common room
This is the common room where Hall-wide events are held for residents. There is a big-screen TV with foxtel, DVD, pool table, table tennis table, library, and comfortable couches. It opens onto the courtyard area by Sullivans Creek.
