Accommodation information

All rooms on campus are now under offer

Undergraduate students only:

All of the rooms in our on-campus accommodation are under offer.  We do receive a small number of cancellations which we can offer to students on a waitlist.  If you wish to reserve a place on our waitlist please email uni.accom@anu.edu.au with the following information and put WAITLIST in the subject line:

  • Last name
  • First name
  • Age
  • Username (6 digit application number you received when you applied for accommodation)
  • Mobile number
  • Undergraduate course

If you have already been offered and/or accepted an accommodation contract for 2019 for a student residence, you are not eligible to waitlist. This is for students that have not secured accommodation.

We will hold your details until 15th February.

Please note: An accommodation offer will only be made to someone on our waitlist if a bed becomes available across the University's suite of Residences. The timeframe of a potential offer cannot be determined and may arise if, for instance, a student currently in room leaves. Offers could be made well into the academic year. To avoid a situation of beginning your studies with no accommodation we strongly encourage you to source alterative accommodation and not rely on the waitlist as there are no guarantees that we can offer you a room.

Please note:

Accommodation Services has a zero tolerance procedure for abusive or threatening behaviours directed towards staff via telephone, email or in person. This includes shouting, swearing, threats, name calling, racist comments and inappropriate gestures.

Those who conduct themselves in a manner outlined above will have their telephone call terminated, email not responded to or will be required to leave Accommodation Services office immediately.

Any of this behaviour by a prospective resident or someone acting on their behalf will also jeopardise the chance of that person being offered a place in University approved accommodation.

If you have a complaint in respect to this procedure please email catherine.firth@anu.edu.au to discuss your matter in more detail.
