Deferred Offer - Accept

Welcome back!

If you deferred an offer for an ANU undergraduate degree, it is now time to register your acceptance.

You may only accept the offer you were given. If you would like to be considered for a different program, please reapply for admission through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC).

ANU does not accept applications to extend your deferral. If you would like to commence your studies in the future, you will need to reapply for admission for that semester.

Need Advice?

Please call the ANU Admissions Office for advice if you have any questions or concerns about your offer.

If you have attempted any tertiary study while your offer has been deferred, you must contact the Admissions Office as soon as possible for advice.

When is my acceptance due?

We encourage you to accept your offer as soon as possible. It is important that you accept your offer to ensure your place at ANU is reserved.

The final day we can receive your acceptance is the Friday before classes commence in February.

Step 1
Accept online

Click "Accept Online" and follow the prompts to register your acceptance.

You will need to provide your UAC application number when you complete the form.

Flexible Double Degrees

If you are accepting your place in a Flexible Double Degree, please ensure you nominate the two Bachelor degrees you wish to combine. Please note that you must meet the ATAR entry requirement for both degrees in your combination. Please check with the ANU Admissions Office if you are not sure.

Step 2
Receive welcome email

After you accept your offer, ANU Admissions will send you a confirmation email. This email will be sent to you within one week of accepting your offer.

Before your program commences, you will receive an email containing an introduction to ANU, your ANU ID and Password, along with helpful information to prepare you for your first semester of study. This email will be sent to you in mid December.
