This scholarship is offered by the ANU College of Medicine, Biology & Environment and John Curtin School of Medical Research.

Medical Science


Enrolled in the fourth honours year of an undergraduate degree and undertaking a research project at the John Curtin School of Medical Research.


A relocation allowance of up to $4,000 is available for Medical Science Honours Year Scholarship holders recruited from outside the ACT Region. The allowance will usually be paid as reimbursement of actual costs for approved travel.

Download an application form and submit it to the to the Graduate Convenor.

Your application should include:

  • Area of research interest
  • the name/s of researchers you have contacted about supervision
  • an outline of your proposed project
  • academic Transcript.

The College understands that students may not necessarily have all their results by the closing date, however don’t allow that to delay your application. Please submit your application prior to the commencement date and forward any other required information as soon as possible.

Further information

Closing date is 30 November for commencement in semester 1 the following year.

15 June for commencement in semester 2. Note only some honours programs allow commencement in second semester.
