ANU College of Business & Economics Relocation Grant


Each year the ANU College of Business and Economics may award up to ten College of Business and Economics Relocation Grants. The Grant is available to provide financial support for students who have been schooled in, and resided in areas outside of the Canberra region and its immediate surrounds, and who are now relocating to Canberra and applying for admission to the University for the first time.


The Grant shall be available to an applicant who:

  • Is an Australian citizen or Australian Permanent Resident only.
  • Has completed a Year 12 qualification in Australia
  • Has been schooled in, and resided in an area outside of the Canberra region.Please note that this excludes students from the immediate surrounds (areas such as Queanbeyan, Karabar, Sutton, Bungendore or Murrumbateman or any of the following postcodes: 0200, 2600-2612, 2614-2620, 2900-2914).
  • Is enrolling either full-time or part-time in an undergraduate single or double degree offered bythe College of Business and Economics.
  • Is entering university for the first time. Students transferring from other universities are noteligible.
  • Has received an approved Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) or ENTER score andapplied for admission to the ANU through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) duringthe intake this Grant is being offered. Please note that direct applicants are not eligible.


The grant provides a one-off payment of $1000 to be paid in the first semester of the student's undergraduate degree program
