About this scholarship

 

Each year the John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR) in the College of Health & Medicine may award a scholarship known as the Paul Bunyan Memorial Scholarship in Medical Sciences to a student undertaking an honours program within the school.

Eligibility

 

The scholarship is available to an applicant:

  • who is an International or domestic student;
  • who is enrolled in an honours year at the John Curtin School of Medical Research;
  • whose honours project is preferably related to cancer research.

Additional information

 

The value of each scholarship is $7000.   A relocation allowance of up to $4,000 is available for Scholarship holders recruited from outside the ACT Region. The allowance will usually be paid as reimbursement of actual costs for approved travel.

Applications are open from 1 November - 30 November for commencement in semester 1 the following year, and from 1 May - 15 June for commencement in semester 2.
