Littleton Groom Memorial Award


This award is offered by the ANU College of Law and is named in honour of barrister and politician Sir Littleton Ernest Groom

Field of study



To be eligible for this award an applicant must:

  • be enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Laws program;
  • have their home address in Queensland;
  • have gained entry to the University on the basis of secondary or tertiary qualifications obtained at a school, University or other institution situated in Queensland;
  • have successfully completed the first year Laws courses (as set out in the conditions of award), or who has successfully completed studies at a Queensland tertiary education institution that is, in the opinion of the Dean of the ANU College of Law, equivalent to those courses or studies that merits the award of the scholarship.


The award offers a stipend of $1000 per year
