Fenner School Scholarship for an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Student

This scholarship is offered by the ANU College of Medicine, Biology & Environment.

Field of study

Bachelor of Science (Forest Science), Bachelor of Science (Resource and Environmental Management) & Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (Sustainability)

Eligibility

The scholarship shall be available for award to an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander student who:

  • is enrolled in a degree program administered by the Fenner School of Environment and Society. The eligible programs are:
    • Bachelor of Science (Forest Sciences)
    • Bachelor of Science (Resource and Environmental Management)
    • Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (Sustainability)
  • provides proof of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent AND identifies as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and is accepted as such by the community/ies in which s/he has been or with which s/he is associated.

Selection basis

Scholarships will be awarded on a merit basis with applications also taken into account.

How to apply

The application shall be submitted in the form of a letter to the Director, Fenner School of Environment and Society, and include a brief statement setting out the reasons for their application.
