Honours in Physics

Eligibility

  • You must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident.
  • You should be intending to enrol full-time at this University in the Honours Year of the Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Philosophy program of study (specialising in Physics) leading to the award of the degree of Bachelor with Honours.
  • You must have an academic record of Distinction average or above
  • You need to establish that you have (or will have) the academic qualifications for entry into Honours and that the required resources will be available to you
  • You must be intending to commence the Honours Program in the first semester of the academic year.
  • You must undertake a project located and supervised at RSPE.

We understand that your entry into Honours may not be finalised at this stage. You do not need to wait for results before lodging an application. If you lodge an application and later become ineligible for Honours, your application will be disregarded.

Benefits

A stipend of up to $10,000 and an additional living and accommodation allowance of up to $15,000 will be available. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit.

You will be required to provide a 200 word statement describing the research, professional or scholarly interests which you intend to pursue during your Honours Year. This must be emailed to rspe.hdr.sa@anu.edu.au
