ANU Graduate Access Scholarship

Overview

This scholarship is offered by Access and Inclusion and shall be available for award to a domestic student with a disability who is enrolled in a postgraduate program of study at The Australian National University.

Eligibility

Applicants must fulfil the following criteria:

  • be current enrolled students in a graduate program of study at the ANU
  • must supply supporting evidence of a permanent disability
  • demonstrate financial hardship.

Selection basis

The Selection Committee may, in making the selection, take into account any or all of the following:

  • the nature and extent of the disability
  • the financial circumstances of the applicant
  • previous tertiary academic results
  • the likely impact of the disability on the applicant's proposed academic program of study
  • the potential of the scholarship to enhance the applicant's ability to successfully complete the academic program of study.

Benefits

The scholarships shall be $2,000 per semester for a full-time student for a maximum of eight semesters and will normally be paid within six weeks after the census date of each semester.
