To commemorate the contribution of Professor R D Terrell to international relations and international student affairs, the University has established the Terrell International Undergraduate Scholarships to be awarded to international undergraduate students on the basis of their achievement in the first year of a Bachelor's degree at The Australian National University.

Continuation based on academic performanceThe award is available each year to a current ANU student who:
(a) is an International student; and
(b) is enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program at the University; and
(c) has completed up to, and no more than, two semesters (48 units) in a Bachelor's degree at the University and will enrol in their second year;
(d) has achieved excellent results during the first two semesters in a Bachelor's degree at the University.
Students transferring to the University from an external institution are not eligible.
2 x 50% fee sponsorship and 2 x 25% fee sponsorship are offered each year.
In addition to this, the scholarship covers 100% OSHC from the award semester, and continue for the duration of undergraduate degree. Recipients are responsible for any tuition and Overseas Student Health Cover Costs prior to the award of this scholarship.
There is no application as students are automatically considered based on them meeting the eligibility criteria or conditions prescribed under the Eligibility section.
