The Research School Astronomy and Astrophysics may award a scholarships known as the RSAA Masters (Advanced) Scholarship.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for RSAA students enrolled in the Master of Astronomy and Astrophysics (Advanced) program.

Selection basis

The Scholarship will be awarded based on:

  • Academic merit.
  • Preliminary commitment for appropriate supervision.
  • Reports from two referees who are familiar with the applicant's work.

Benefits

The scholarship provides a stipend of up to $20,000 over a maximum period of two years.

How to apply

Students will be considered for the award if they indicate they wish to be considered for the scholarship on their application and if two referee reports for the student have been received by the Research School of Astronomy & Astrophysics. Students may also request to be considered for this scholarship at any time of the year.
