About this scholarship

 

Each year the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific (CAP) may offer up to two Garrurru Postgraduate Indigenous Scholarships.
The scholarships are to address the underrepresentation of Indigenous Australians enrolled in programs and courses offered by CAP through the provision of a stipend to cover tuition fees and pastoral support to award recipients.
Funding for this award has been provided by the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific and offered to Indigenous Australian postgraduate coursework students in the spirit of the College's ongoing commitment to practical reconciliation.

Eligibility

 

All future and current students of ANU, who identify as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, can demonstrate excellent academic merit, and enrol in part time or full time study in any postgraduate coursework program offered by the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific are eligible to apply.

Additional information

 

Scholarship recipients receive a fee-waiver scholarship for a maximum of 96 units of courses undertaken in a postgraduate program in the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific-the equivalent of an entire master's degree.
