Bhavita Patel Undergraduate Scholarship

This financial support is currently not available.

Every three to five years the ANU College of Business and Economics may offer an award known as the Bhavita Patel Undergraduate Scholarship.

The Bhavita Patel Scholarship is a transformative scholarship established to commemorate ANU alumna and treasured Deloitte employee, Bhavita Patel.

Bhavita died in January 2017 after an incident in Melbourne's CBD. She had a passion for learning and a deep commitment to the community. Thus, The Deloitte Foundation, in consultation with Bhavita's family, agreed that a scholarship at ANU, where Bhavita studied business before embarking on her successful career, would best honour her.

The scholarship aims to:

  • improve access to tertiary education for students who may not otherwise be able to attend ANU; and
  • recognise and reward academic excellence; and
  • recognise and reward students who demonstrate a passion for learning and a commitment to community.

Field of study

Management, Marketing, International Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Studies, Statistics
