Introduction to Mindfulness Course

Welcome to our mindfulness course. Mindfulness refers to paying attention to the present moment with openness and curiosity. Mindfulness is increasingly being used to enhance wellbeing as well as academic engagement and performance. Research indicates that mindfulness has a myriad of positive effects. It has been found to decrease symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression whilst improving general well-being, life satisfaction, physical health, interpersonal relationships, study and occupational success. Full transcripts of these Talking Tips will be available shortly.

These Talking Tips include an introduction to mindfulness as well as practices you can use to develop your mindfulness skills.
