Special Exam Arrangements

IMPORTANT: The deadline to renew your EAPs to receive Special (Alternative) Exam Arrangements (SEAs) for Mid-semester exams: is 5 pm on Wednesday, 8th March 2023.

Special Exam Arrangements (SEAs) are offered to support students with a disability or medical condition by providing adjustments to the standard conditions under which exams are administered.

Access & Inclusion (A&I) will consider the nature of the student's disability or medical condition and make recommendations on the arrangements that would minimise the impact in the exam setting.

Exams may be run by the Examinations Office or the Academic College/s and they are responsible for implementing the arrangements.

  1. Students are responsible for notifying each of their Course Convenor at least two weeks and no later than 5 days prior to the exam date if the student requires SEA's to be in place for their mid/end of semester exams. Students have been advised that without sufficient notice, SEA's may not be implemented.

  2. Students will receive an email from the Exams Office or Academic College/s/ Convenor advising all the exam details with their SEAs included.

If you do not receive an email within 3 business days of your exam then contact the Academic College/s/ Convenor or Examinations Office to find out the details of your exam. The contact details for the Examinations Office are phone (02) 6125 3236 or email examinations.officer@anu.edu.au

If you have received your email from the Examinations Office and your SEAs are not outlined in there please email access.inclusion@anu.edu.au
