Llewellyn Hall | Venue Information

Llewellyn Hall is located in the School of Music (Building #100) and is the designated venue for the biannual Australian National University Conferring of Awards ceremonies. The venue is transformed into a graduand village where graduands along with their family and friends can celebrate the achievement of completing an award at the ANU. We have vendors on site for services such as photography, framing and memorabilia. For a snapshot of the village, please see "Venue Map" under resources.

ACCESS

Access to Llewellyn Hall is via the ground floor entry to the School of Music and also accessible by level one. Graduands are asked to assemble in the Graduand Registration room and will be directed into the Hall from here.

Guests can access their seats via level one of the School of Music. There is access from the ground floor via internal stairs only for July 2017 Conferral of Awards ceremonies (see further details below). External to the School of Music is a ramp leading to level one from the carpark closest to the ANU School of Art and Design. There is also an external stair case (near the ground floor entry point).

PARKING

There are multiple paid parking locations close to the venue. Please see the attached "Parking Map" under resources for these locations. Please ensure when parking, you read the signs nearby to ensure it is a deisgnated parking area for the public. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE JULY 2017 CONFERRING OF AWARDS:

There will be limited access from the ground floor to level one at the School of Music for guests with mobility issues. This is due to the lift at the School of Music being out of order for the July 2017 Conferral of Awards ceremonies. If any of your guests have mobility issues that would require the use of a lift, please ensure you advise the Graduations Office via email.

Guests with mobility issues (wheelchairs, scooter etc.) will still be able to access the Hall, however this will be from a different entry point than the main foyer on the ground floor. The Graduations Office will be able to accomodate your guests and provide direction on where to park and how to access the Hall appropriately.
