ANU Orientation Week Semester 1 2017

Whether you are an international student, from Australia or a Canberra local, attendance at Orientation week (O-week) from Monday 13 February 2017 is essential as the range of events is designed to help you succeed in the early stages of your program. Attending O-week will help you meet other new students, familiarise yourself with the campus and prepare for study. You will receive important information about your academic college, support services, visa requirements, program and course advice, academic skills development, staying healthy, and making the most of student life. If you are an international student you’ll also need to open an Australian bank account, familiarise yourself with the health care system and organise everything you need to make your new accommodation feel like home. It's important to arrive before O-week and give yourself enough time to do all this. If you will be living in an ANU residential community, check with the residence the date you will need to arrive, as it will be before Saturday 11 February.

Register now for the ANU welcome and information session on the first day of O-week. Events will be added to this page as confirmed, so check back and add events to your calendar. Ask questions of current ANU students: New @ ANU Facebook 2017 group. Or email us. Congratulations on joining the ANU community!

O-week Market Day is organised by the ANU Students Association (ANUSA). Please contact the ANUSA O-week Directors for information and to register for a stall.
