Peter has many years of experience as Sub-Dean and Undergraduate Convenor in the College of Asia & the Pacific (CAP), while teaching courses in Japanese language and the linguistics of Asian languages. His primary research areas are the history of the Japonic language family and language teaching.
Peter has served CAP and the ANU on a variety of education related committees, and has a particular interest in the experience of international students at the ANU and ANU students abroad.
