Congratulations on joining the ANU community!
Whether you are an international student, from Australia or a Canberra local, attendance at Orientation Week from Monday 16 July 2018 is designed to help you succeed in the early stages of your program. Attending Orientation Week will help you meet other new students, familiarise yourself with the campus and prepare for study. You will receive important information about your academic college, support services, visa requirements, program and course advice, academic skills development, staying healthy, and making the most of student life. If you are an international student you'll also need to open an Australian bank account, familiarise yourself with the health care system and organise everything you need to make your new accommodation feel like home. It's important to arrive before Orientation Week and give yourself enough time to do all this.
An Orientation Week website is currently in the works and will be live shortly.
Market Day will be held in Bush Week (23-27 July) and is organised by the ANU Students Association (ANUSA). If you would like more information on how to register for a stall, please contact the ANUSA Social Officer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are running an internal Orientation Week event and would like it featured on the Orientation Week website, please contact ANU Student Experience and Career Development at email@example.com.
