Enrolment Information

Enrolments for the 2008 Semester 2 Sport & Recreation Program will commence on Monday 21 July and continue until Sunday 3 August. Enrolments will be accepted at the Reception Desk between 7.00am - 7.00pm Monday to Friday and from 3.00pm - 5.00pm on Saturday & Sunday. Tennis enrolments can be made on 6281 3414 or 0412 623 713.

As most of our courses are progressive learning courses, enrolments may not be taken after the second week of classes, Sunday 17 August. This depends on the course. To avoid being disappointed, please enroll during enrolment week. Pro rata fees for late enrolments (due to extenuating circumstances) may be given at the discretion of ANU Sport and Recreation Management.

Enrolments are open to ANU students, Sport & Recreation Association members and the general community. Enrolments are only open to persons over the age of 16 years.

How to Enroll

After reading this program and choosing your activities:

  • Complete the enrolment form available from the Sport & Recreation Association Reception Desk.
  • Return the completed form, together with your 2009 dated ANU student card or Sport & Recreation Association (SRA) membership card, (if applicable) and payment to the staff at the Reception Desk.
  • No phone bookings will be accepted - all enrolments will be taken at the ANU Sport & Recreation Association.
  • Full payment must be made at the time of enrolment. Payments will be accepted by cash, cheque, Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard and EFTPOS. All cheques must be crossed and made payable to the ANU Sport & Recreation Association, with your name and address printed on the back.
  • Enrolments cannot be made on behalf of someone else. Original signatures must be accompanied with each enrolment form.

Course Cancellations

Should a course be cancelled for any reason, you will be notified by telephone or email. You will be given the option of a credit note or a refund of the course fees in full by cheque. Cheques may take up to 4 weeks to be processed.

Refunds

Enrollees are given a 7 day cooling off period from the date of processing their enrolment form, during which time they may withdraw and terminate their application. Application for termination must be made to the Association within the 7 day cooling off period. An administration fee of $10 will apply for any termination. Please note that refund cheques may take up to 4 weeks to be processed.

NO refunds will be given after the course has commenced unless supported by a medical certificate. A credit note may be given once the course has commenced, on a pro-rata basis at the discretion of management. Should a medical certificate be presented, then the refund will be determined on a pro-rata basis from the date of withdrawal notification to the Sports Promotions Manager (Alex Sumpter). Refund cheques may take up to 4 weeks to be processed.

Public Holidays

If your course falls on a public holiday, please determine with individual instructors as to whether your course will be held on these days or if make-up classes can be made. The Sport & Recreation Association opens for reduced hours on public holidays, usually from 2pm-7pm.
